Overview
The primary goal of this process is to reflect on our performance and impact, and to consider how to improve.
Overall Guidance
Read these docs for suggestions on how to think about impact, contributions and growth at Warp (some of these are internal-only JDs!).
Objectivity and Fairness
- Try to approach your reviews with fairness and objectivity. Base your assessments on facts and observations rather than personal biases.
- Focus on the person’s performance, not their personality or behavior outside of work.
- Consider the overall impact of the person’s contributions on the team and organization.
Specific feedback
- Provide specific examples of performance, both positive and negative.
- Use clear language to describe their contributions and areas where they could improve.
- Avoid vague or overly general statements that do not offer actionable insights.
Balance
- Ensure your feedback is balanced, highlighting both strengths and areas for improvement.
